These other people can be friends, spouses or significant others. In a house, Venus can be indicating that relationships are playing a role in there somehow. In that house is where beautiful conditions exist or where you enjoy creating beautiful conditions. Venus sees all of life is in relationship with itself. The sign is simple, wants peace, wants to enjoy the pleasures of the flesh in a stable and simple life. Libra is cardinal air and Venus presents itself in a more active and intellectual matter. Libra is all about balance and harmony and places a high importance on relationships. So, Venus wants to form relationships, express love, and find balance to coexist with the external world. The physical constitution of a Venus type would depend on the placement in the chart. That will be the general rule for all the planets but, a Venusian is generally medium to tall, slender, graceful, smooth appearance, or they can be full and thick and curvy. There's usually a beauty to Venus types that exist beyond our definitions of beauty. Venus rules the reproductive female system as with the Moon. Venus rules the kidneys, which are related to Libra, the veins and the skin. Psychologically, Venus would be described as sweetness, which would be affecting the pancreas and insulin, and would be making the tissue states relaxed and damped. When Venus is balanced, it makes deep, heartfelt connections, is social, loving and just a good person. It's relaxed and sweet. Venus shows us the journey of loving ourselves so we can love another. When Venus is not balanced the energy becomes judgmental, envious, jealous, resentful, inconsiderate, selfish, vain, self-critical, cold, a perfectionist. They can misuse sexual energy to manipulate or take power over somebody. There can be fear of intimacy and an inability to connect with your heart. Too much Venus can lead to sexual promiscuity, being more about the physical and not enough connection with the heart. In its darker version, Venus can be lazy, shallow, greedy, indecisive and self-absorbed. Venus corresponds to the sacred chakra. We can use this chakra to accept our sexual identity and to heal any shame or guilt that we may be carrying. Its metal is copper; shiny, reflective and flexible.
