I've often wondered why I didn't just focus on one thing.
My very first love, that I can remember, was astrology and languages. As a child I'd ask my father to buy me those old astrology scrolls from the supermarket (if anyone remembers those). My brothers asked for a candy bar, but I was more interested in astrology. I was probably around ten. My love was quickly silenced due to the fact that we were raised to have Catholic beliefs. Therefore, my second interest became languages. I then asked my father to buy me a book to learn to speak French. I loved it. I was in sixth grade by then and was determined to learn more languages. Meeting people from all different backgrounds fascinated me. I knew from a young age I wanted to help others feel accepted. I wanted them to know they were important and loved. I wanted to communicate this to everyone and I felt learning to speak different languages was a way to do it.

Being such an empathetic child and not knowing how to set boundaries hurt me.
I wanted to help others heal but desperately needed healing for myself. With Chiron in Aries as my lifelong teacher this time around, my whole life's theme has been about finding MYSELF, healing MYSELF, loving MYSELF, knowing MYSELF. I desperately wanted to let others know they were special when all along, I had to convince myself and believe that I was special. Chiron has given me the best lesson I could have asked for (Which I actually did ask for). Because of this harsh lesson, I recognized I had to learn different modalities because I continue to attract people from interesting backgrounds and healing doesn't come in a one-size-fits-all package. Though we might all be similar, we're not the same and learning these different modalities, has helped me relate well with others.
There's more than one way to finding healing. I only have been taught a few.
